Different Strokes Blog Challenge

watercolor 11 x 15

This is my finished portrait of the Different Strokes
challenge. Each artist sent in a photograph
of themselves and then receive a photograph
of another participating artist to paint.

Discovered I painted the portrait of
John Vander Stelt
who painted me which is posted on his blog.
This is my second attempt on the portrait,
this one giving me a hard time with the
darks which wanted to lift with each new
layer.

Nice work, Susan. You have a beautiful range of blues, and really captured his blue eyes!

Amazing likeness to his photo. It's so well done, I think I recognize him from his portrait of last year. Great job.
